How To Reset After a Holiday

I’ve just come back from a five day trip to Italy, where all I did was eat, sleep, walk. It did help that I walked a lot on this trip but I still feel like I ate way more than I intended to. I also ate everything that’s on my list of “Foods to Avoid”. So here I am, back in London at my family’s house, trying to find ways to reset. I head back to Paris on Tuesday, so I have a couple of days to prepare before I am back at Barry’s Bootcamp sweating my ass off.

Here are some things that I plan on doing to reset my body and mind. We can use these tips for when we’ve overeaten the day before and feel bleh.

  1. Drink at least one gallon of water everyday

  2. Sweating for at least 30 minutes everyday

  3. Hitting 10k steps everyday

  4. Adding more protein to my meals

I am also cutting out sugar, dairy, and most gluten. I will allow myself to have sourdough bread because I have found that my body doesn’t react to it.
